Right to Erasure
Application: Where Am I (WAI) · Developer: juanbulls · Last updated: June 24, 2026
Good news: Where Am I never sends your data to any external server. All your GPS tracks, sessions, and settings are stored exclusively on your own device — which means you have full control and can erase everything at any time, directly from the app.
1. Delete individual tracks
You can delete specific GPS sessions without affecting the rest of your data:
- Open the Where Am I app on your Wear OS watch
- Go to Track History
- Swipe left on any track you want to delete
- Confirm the deletion
On the companion phone app, the same swipe-to-delete gesture is available in the Sync Tracks screen.
2. Delete all data at once
The fastest way to erase all your data is to uninstall the app. This removes everything stored by Where Am I from your device, including:
- All recorded GPS tracks and GPX files
- Your session history and JSON index
- App settings and preferences
- Downloaded offline map files
Note: Uninstalling will also remove all downloaded offline maps. Re-downloading maps for your regions can take significant time and storage, so consider deleting individual tracks first if you only want to clear your track history.
3. No server-side data to request
Since Where Am I does not transmit any data to external servers, there is no account to delete and no data held by juanbulls to request removal of. Your data lives only on your device — erasing it is entirely in your hands.
